Health, Aging & Society Student Association (HASSA)

Promoting Health & Aging at McMaster University and in the Hamilton Community

The Health, Aging, and Society Student Association (HASSA) is a student-run organization dedicated to promoting the awareness and study of issues related to health and aging.  HASSA hopes to bring together students with similar interests through academic, recreational, and social activities.  The main objective of the association is to provide opportunities for discussions related to health and aging to occur outside of the classroom and in the community.

2008-2009 Graduation Appreciation Dinner

The graduating class held the inaugural Graduation Appreciation Dinner to acknowledge the accomplishments of their peers, as well as to thank those in the department who had an impact on their learning and experience as a Health, Aging and Society student. The evening was a huge success, and one we hope will be continued by graduating classes in the future. Thank you to all who helped organize, plan, and attended the event!
